Welcome to the online home of The Wiregrass Honor Flight Hub.

The Wiregrass Honor Flight Hub has been organized in the Wiregrass.  The purpose is to take our WW II veterans to Washington D. C. to see their memorial. The WHFH is affiliated with a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit entity for the sole purpose of providing a well deserved and overdue tribute to America's finest.  We look to individuals, our communities, and businesses for support of this effort.

The 3nd and 4th Wiregrass Honor Flights will be on April 17, 2010 and on April 24th, 2010, and will carry approximately 90 veterans plus their guardians to Washington, D. C. on each flight. Terminally ill veterans and veterans over 90 will have priority. Our veterans do not pay a penny for any aspect of their trip.  Such Veterans are neversolicited for donations and can never pay for their trip.  They have given enough. Cost for guardians and flying volunteers will not exceed $450.
